SEBI has been publishing monthly information reports on Portfolio Managers since 2013.

These monthly reports are available to the public at the following link: https://lnkd.in/da8e9ay.

The performance information in these reports is especially useful for an investor to factor into his or her investment decision.

In a January 2021 circular, SEBI specified a new format for Portfolio Managers to submit monthly data. This was done to “broaden the information obtained” from Portfolio Managers.

While Portfolio Managers are now providing this broadened set of information to SEBI, the reports published by SEBI in the last couple of months on its public website no longer contain performance data.

It is yet to be seen if the regulator subsequently publishes this very useful performance data or if it is a temporary issue with the website.
